Springer's SUCI & AIP Proceedings publications
NITTE SME 2026
NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte is hosting the multiconference ICETE 2026 during 05 - 07, February 2026. ICETE 2026 will have seven International Conferences under its umbrella which have been organized with specific themes pertaining to different departments. The Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence organize the International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Developments in Materials, Manufacturing and Energy Engineering (SME-2026). The conference is dedicated to driving innovation in nearly every aspect of Mechanical Engineering, Robotics and allied areas. The conference provides a platform for researchers, and professionals from various research institutes, and industries to share and exchange their knowledge and experience on different themes of the conference. A series of invited presentations and technical paper presentations are planned to discuss the emerging trends, feasible solutions to pressing problems in the major domains of materials, manufacturing and energy.
Theme
Smart and Sustainable developments in Materials, Manufacturing and Energy Engineering, is focused on the latest technological innovations. It showcases the commitment of NMAMIT in bringing together various disciplines and amalgamating new ideas. The theme encompasses a wide range of topics and technologies that promote the efficient use of resources, minimize environmental impact, and enhance the overall well-being of society. The conference focuses on the development of new generation materials, Shape memory materials and self-healing materials. It will discuss the use of innovative materials and technologies for efficient energy harvesting, storage, and showcasing cutting-edge manufacturing techniques and devices such as additive manufacturing, nanotechnology and sustainable process engineering and robotic technologies.

Publications
All the accepted and registered papers of SME 20265 will be published in the conference proceedings. The papers of this conference will be published in the following publishers:
1. Springer's Sustainable Civil Infrastructure (SUCI) series.
Papers falling the area of "Advanced Materials and Technologies for Sustainable Manufacturing" will be published in the Springer book series of Sustainable Civil Infrastructure (SUCI) which is indexed in SCOPUS, EI Compendex, etc.
2. AIP Conference Proceedings
Papers falling in materials Science and Engineering and other topics covered in SME 2026 will be published in the AIP Conference Proceedings (a conference proceedings journal) which is indexed in CPCI – Web of Science (Thomson Reuters), SCOPUS (Elsevier), Inspec, International Nuclear Information System (INIS), NASA – ADS, Chemical Abstracts, etc.
Previous editions publications
The proceedings of the previous editions of SME conference have been published in Elsevier's Materials Today proceedings and Springer's Advances in Science, Technology & Innovation (ASTI) book series.
